This zine will be celebrating the romantic relationship between Dick Grayson and Slade Wilson from DC Comics.


╰┈➤ Will this zine be physical or digital? Is this a for profit or charity project?
This will be a digital, for-charity zine.


╰┈➤ What is this zine’s rating?
The SFW zine will be rated PG-13. This includes non-graphic violence and injuries, and romance without explicit sexual activity.


╰┈➤ Is this zine Safe for Work (SFW) or Not Safe for Work (NSFW)?
This zine will have both a SFW edition and an NSFW edition!


╰┈➤ Are other characters allowed?
Other characters can be included but sladick must be the main focus.


╰┈➤ Are AUs allowed?
AUs will be allowed.


╰┈➤ Will this zine only allow sladick? What about dickslade?
We are using sladick as a general ship term, all ship dynamics are welcome in the zine.


╰┈➤ Can we show violence, especially considering one of the characters is a villain?
No, the focus of the piece should be romantic in nature. As such, no violence will be depicted in this zine.


╰┈➤ How many contributors will you accept?
We will finalize our contributor numbers depending on the results of the interest check.


╰┈➤ Who can apply? Do I need previous zine experience?
Anyone that is 18 years can apply, regardless of previous zine experience may apply.

╰┈➤ What compensation will the contributors/mods be receiving?
All contributors will receive a digital PDF of the zine.

Applicant Guidelines

╰┈➤ GENERAL
• Links must be publicly accessible. Double-check using an incognito window. Inaccessible links will be disqualified; mods do not have capacity to follow up on restricted links.
• At least one piece must feature Dick Grayson.
• At least one piece must feature Slade Wilson.
• Contributors must create an original piece for the zine. Submitting samples that are traced, plagiarized, or AI-generated will result in disqualification.
• Contributors retain the right to their piece. However during the zine’s creation, we implement an exclusivity clause, and ask contributors to not publicly post their piece. This ensures the zine’s content is not spoiled before distribution.

Please submit a link containing 3-5 art samples that represent the style of piece you would like to create for the zine. (If you’re interested in creating merch, this should include merch samples; if you’re interested in creating a comic, this should include comic samples.)

Please submit a link containing 3 writing samples that represent the style of piece you would like to create for the zine.All samples must be between 2-3k words. At least one sample must be a completed piece within the word limit; others may be excerpts from longer works.

╰┈➤ OTHER MEDIUMS
As a digital project, we’re able to include other mediums in the zine that would be more logistically challenging in a physical project (such as animation, music, and games).Please submit a link containing 3-5 samples that represent the kind of piece you would like to create for the zine.
